USARim Limited Warranty

USARim Limited Warranty states that our wheels will be free from structural failure under normal and intended use as long as the original retail purchaser owns the product. USARim further warrants to the original retail purchaser that products manufactured will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal and intended use for a period of one year from retail purchase. Warranty excludes surface rust and pitting which can be prevented by proper care (click HERE for our Maintenance Guide), or can be accelerated by improper (or lack of) care, and therefore is not covered. This warranty shall be valid only when the wheels are returned to an authorized USARim Wheels dealer or to USARim's head office, freight prepaid, along with the original proof of purchase.

USARim's obligation under this warranty shall be limited to the replacement or repair of any wheel which in USARim's opinion is considered to be defective. Our sole and exclusive obligation under this warranty shall be to repair or replace, at our sole discretion, any product that does not conform to this warranty and is returned for visual inspection. The product must be accompanied by the original sales receipt and returned to the retail or wholesale dealer from whom the product was originally purchased. Such repair or replacement shall not include removal or installation. In no event shall the manufacturer be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages.

This warranty is not applicable if :

1. Damage was incurred by incidental or consequential damages, i.e. accidents, improper installation.

2. Corrosion or damage occurred due to improper maintenance.

3. Damage or structural failure occurs as a result of weather or road conditions such as salt or harsh weather.

4. Damage or structural failure occurs as a result of racing applications.

What is not covered? ( Exclusions)

a) Peeling of the clear coat, paint or chrome on the back of the wheel

b) Wheels with a radial or lateral run-out less than 0.020 inch

c) Wheels damaged or knocked out-of-round due to: tire installation, lowered suspension, impact, off roading, accident, racing, negligence, misuse or exceeding the load rating or tire diameter ( see installation instructions).

d) Pitting, corrosion or surface rust in the finish of the wheel caused by neglect

e) Scratches, stone chips, sidewalk burns or other marks in the finish caused by road hazards.

f) Paint chipping around the bolt holes due to installation with an impact gun.

g) Cosmetic defects greater than one year from the date of purchase.

h) Cosmetic warranty for wheels purchased as “blemished” (structural warranty still applies)

i) Wheels claimed by someone other than the original purchaser.

j) Wheels that have been repaired, altered or used with adapters and /or spacers.

k) Wheels that have been damaged in transit

l) Wheels where the installation instructions have not been followed(supplied with each wheel)

m) Wheels that have been installed with other than USARim approved accessories

This limited warranty is the sole express warranty given and is In Lieu of all other express warranties, whether oral or written. All implied warranties, including, without limitation, warranties of merchantability of fitness for a particular purpose are here by disclaimed.

This warranty expires upon transfer of title of any products by the original retail purchaser. No warranty or representation by anyone other than the manufacturer shall be binding. USARim wheels are not designed to be mounted with any accessories or adapters, etc., other than those supplied and/or approved in writing by the manufacturer and damage caused by any such other accessories or adapters is not covered by this warranty.

Important

If returned products are found not to be the subject of the warranty coverage, the product will be returned to the sender, without repair or replacement, at the senders' expense.

Every effort has been extended to assure the accuracy of this information. Should an error exist, USARim reserves the right to change or correct said error without notice.

This warranty is given by USARim and is in lieu of all other expressed warranties, whether oral or written. All implied warranties, such as warranties of merchantability or fitness of a particular purpose, shall be limited to the duration of this warranty.

This warranty is non transferable and expires upon title transfer of any USARim products by the original purchaser. No warranty or representation by anyone other than USARim shall be binding upon USARim.

This shall be the limit of liability of USARim for defective goods and under no circumstances shall USARim be responsible for any damages whatsoever, including consequential damages, economic damages, or lost profit.

Customer Information

After your wheels have been installed, make sure the installer complies with proper installation procedures for each wheel, and that you have verified each step with him. Remember to retorque your nuts / bolts after 40 kilometers (25 miles) of use. Failure to retorque them is unsafe and could cause a serious accident. Nuts and bolts must be retorqued every time they are installed.

If you hit a curb or pothole, or have an accident and suspect structural damage, have your wheels inspected immediately by a licensed mechanic. If structural damage is found, replace the wheel immediately.

Keep this document with the owner's manual and give it to the new owner when the vehicle is sold.

Wheel Maintenance Guidelines

Custom Wheels require special care in order to keep them in good condition. Proper wheel maintenance will prevent peeling, pitting, corrosion and surface rust. In order to protect your wheels' finish from deterioration and to prevent your warranty from being voided, we recommend that you follow these few steps:

1. Wash your wheels on a weekly basis with non-detergent soap and water, using a soft brush or sponge. Cleaning your wheels frequently will remove salt, dirt and brake dust that can be corrosive to the finish

2. Do not use chemical or abrasive cleaners or mag wheel polishes. Only cleaners designed for clear coated wheels should be used. All USARim Wheels (except for chrome) have a clear coating applied at the factory to protect their finish and make them easier to clear. Most cleaners are too harsh for this coating as they have an acid or lye base. We recommend that you follow the manufacturer's recommendations on the bottle for safe and effective use. For chrome wheels, a coat of non-abrasive cream or wax should be applied after cleaning to prevent peeling, pitting, corrosion and / or surface rust.

3. Beware of car washes that use steam cleaners, scouring pads, bristle brushes and / or tire cleaners. High temperatures, rough cleaning materials and harsh chemicals can cause permanent damage to your wheels.

4) Never spray cold water on extremely hot wheels. Allow your wheels to cool before cleaning them. Extreme temperature changes can cause deterioration to the finish.

5) Remove your USARim Wheels for the winter and install a set of winter wheels or use your original factory wheels. Snow, slush, sand and road salt are hard on custom wheels and will destroy a wheel's finish in a short period of time.

6) Ensure your USARim Wheels are washed, dried and placed in clean bad and stored in a dry place for the winter! Brrr!
